Pay note to the listing for the engine he uses.

Let the agressively informative email assault begin.

Meh, cut the guy some slack. None of the S10/S110/S12 cars are popular anymore, easy mistake. Might just be a typo, or a guess for that matter. I'd just kindly inform him.
Frankly I'd rather have an L20B than a CA20E, I could almost wish he was right. Might not itch so badly for a CA18DET.

ya thats just a mistake you cant make ...... we need a pic of him with a tiltle saying idiot... just like the owned ones

You lot are a bit rough aren't you? He probably bought the motor off someone who told him it was from a S12 or many other plausable explanations that don't require you to jump down his throat.

i think we all need to get on a few boards that aren't s12 related...gazelle what the heck is that?? oooo thats a fwd honda right??? we seem to think because we are lucky enough to know a fair bit about are cars due mostly to this forum and web pages that everyone else should also know... without looking what motor did the 1991 saab 900 turbo come out with? i wouldn't have a clue why? i dont own one :)

***whinge over***

An e-mail to him telling hime what engine he does have I think would be best, but if he doesn't change it, then I say it is no holds barred...But other than the CA20, it could be the FJ20...

Edit, he has changed the Dizzy, and put a carb on it...

Weber 32/36 progressive carb

EL dizzy conversion

:wtf:

even if he did if he wanted to modify it he would have more then likely done some homework on the motor and i bet it would have listed others cars the motor came in never the 200sx

I'm not quite understanding exactly what some of you are typing, but I think some of you think he either has an S12 engine (definitely not) and others seem to think he has no grounds for thinking the L20B ever came in a 200SX. FYI the S10 chassis 200SX did have the L20B, which is what I meant to imply earlier but probably wasn't clear. I was thinking the S110 also did but I see now that it instead had the Z20E, but that's practically an L-series engine anyway :-P

Beside the engine it says 200sx with S12 in brackets...

Yah I see that, but S10/S12, easy mistake.
Ehhh, I'm just saying don't jump all over the poor guy. Maybe I'm just too laid back for you guys.

You lot are a bit rough aren't you? He probably bought the motor off someone who told him it was from a S12 or many other plausable explanations that don't require you to jump down his throat. It has little to do with defending S12's, and more to do with the fact that I personally know what most the engines belong with, and I'm not even a Nissan/Datsun "nut" by most terms. He should know his Nissan nomenclature and history.

I don't own an S110 or an old "dime" but I know they have a NAPZ and an L20B respectively.

I have seen pictures of the NAP-Z engine in S110.

Does any one know wich s12 DID have an L series?{hint its yellow and white...)

I've only seen one yellow S12, and it was a MKI with a Eribuni kit on it, and I don't remember it having an L20...

Arrodate not saved · #14

Who would put an L20B in an S12? :gay:

L20B is just an engine trying to be an L-series 6.

And after seeing two different Dimes with L28 swap-ins (he remade his own firewall), I'm convinced.

ahoffman83date not saved · #15

I'm guessing that yellow and white Fisco S12.

Arrodate not saved · #16

Well that's not even a real S12, it just has an S12 mockup body, but it was originally an S110.

Nebuchernezzerdate not saved · #17

Was it an L20 or a LZ20 (nearly the same i know).
On a side note there is a super sedan gazelle racing in oz with a 500hp LZ20 in it. Nice :)
Got an article about it here somewhere.

Actually I think the FJ was put in it, and it made upwards of 500hp...are are some small pisc with the hood off...

The yellow car looks sweet ,the FISCO car is LZ20 powered by looking at those pics.
