I wont have a happy thanksgiving bevause I am still fighting off my cold for the second week in a row..... right when I needed it the least, with my amnd dash hanging off the inside of the ab, the intake manifold off the engine, and a dozen or so little thing that need to be fixed including a quck bang up job of a repaint of my engine bay where the fire blackened parts of the paint.
Damned cold sux.
Happy Thanksgiving anyway Jason. Hope you feel better soon. I heard that drinking alot of alcohol helps. Couldn't hurt, atleast I don't think so.
Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving to the rest of my fellow S12vers. I'm off to drink myself into a drunken stupper.
Uh yeah, whatever this thanksgiving malarky is..... enjoy it.... ;)
TURRRKKKKKKKEEEEEEYYYYY!

Happy Thanksgiving/Turkey Day everyone. I'm too tired to type laters.

Don't know what Thanksgiving is, eh? It's a day we celebrate the deliciousness of turkey, and all things that go with turkey. And booze. We celebrate booze as well. :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!hhahahah... ok overseas dudes... it's a celebration of when the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock on our North American east coast. They were seeking refuge from religious differences in their region, and set sail westward across the ATLANTIC. They landed on a place later to be known as Plymouth Rock. There, they set up a colony, and met Squanto and his fellow local natives (later mistakenly called "indians"), and the locals taught them how to grow corn, and the colony survived. Turkey was a mainstay for the colonists, and so eating turkey and things like Corneucopias (hornlike containers the indians used to bring corn and other food to the pilgrims) are considered to be icons of a day determined to celebrate the situation, known as "Thanksgiving Day", becuse the pilgrims were thankful of the locals' assistance.
Since then, the capitalism of the US has turned i into an off-work paid holiday, and a marketing ploy, where you don't have to work, have all day long to shop, and department stores mark down items sometimes as low as 50% off, in an effort to preemptively eliminate alot of inventory before year's end. They do the same thing after Christmas and especially after New Year's Eve. So Thanksgiving is just the beginning of capitalism cleaning house for the year.
*whew* <sets keyboard aside>

well I am having a godd Turkey day... although I have the sudden urge to grab an RPG launcher and waste my S12. I dunno it's like when you get a craving for like ice cream or some thing but more violent. I'm going to shut up now.

Whoops hahahah so noted and corrected, also they were NOT quakers and I removed that too ;)
I thought Thanksgiving was just another reason to skip school and work to drink in the middle of the day and lounge around at home watching football while the women cooked a turkey so large that you'll have turkey sandwiches till christmas.
Kid I know weighed was going to fast the day before Thanksgiving day and then Thanksgiving day before dinner, then weigh himself before/after dinner  . I'll know the results Saturday.
