Well, I found an '87 black VG30 S12 at a local junkyard a few weeks back. I've had a broken left tail light on my car for about 4 years now. I finally went down there and picked up a good left tail light and installed it. AAAAAHHHH It felt so good! LOL I'd like to get the hood so that I can practice making a vented one, but I'm afraid of what the hood will cost.
On another topic, junkyards sure are getting to be a ripoff these days. I remember when I used to get things for what they're worth. Anymore, it seems like they just take a percentage off the list price for a new item. The tail light cost me $50, and that's after I talked them down from $60. All of my local wrecking yards are the same way. There are some great ones up in Portland, OR that are cheap as heck, but no S12's. Anyway, just had to rant a little bit. Don't mind me. :p
Finally, I feel complete........

Junkyards around here just plan SUCK! They won't even let you go in the junkyard yourself and look around, much less actually pick the stuff off yourself. Grossly overpriced, and there's a few junkyards that won't even carry anything older than about 5 years old!!!
But anyway, glad to hear you're a complete man again...
Geez, that sucks. At Pick-N-Pull they have almost everything. Abit over priced sort of. Well anyways I was lucky enough to get my turbo hood for a cheap price of only $18. But than when it comes to engine parts, thats when it gets to become a bitch.
My local Pick-a-Part yard charged m only $40 for a 280ZX turboscoop hood, complete.
I got a whole right side tail light assembly for about $20.
I got a whole right side tail light assembly for about $20.
Well, isn't that special. Where were you when I needed a left side tail light assembly for $20? LOL :p
