(I'd post a pic or two, but like the sig says, our server is down)

I drive the 200 all year round. :)

i havent had the car for a year yet, but it will be driven during the winter.

geoffdonkdate not saved · #9

the 200 was built for all seasons, only corners are funner in the winter.

ahoffman83date not saved · #10

Wish I had another car to drive to keep the 200 out of the salt but it's all I got. S12s have been my only cars since I started driving. They do alright in the snow so long as you know what you are doing and have decent winter tires. Some all seasons like yokohama avid h4s will get you nowhere when it snows. I swap out my back tires for shitty old goodyear wingfoots i have laying around that came with the car and they do better in snow. I'm thinking about picking up a set of snow tires this winter though just in case.

1989 Ford Tempo........POS!!!!! I bought it cause I'm not sure how long my S12 will be in the shop........And it died the second day I had it. Now my daily driver until I get the S12 back is my Bike, pedal power all the way baby!!!!

I've got two beaters. A 1984 totota tercel 4wd and a 1985 chevy k-10 blazer. Its funny but the tercel will go farther in the snow and mud than the blazer will. I have never seen a car that will go more places than a 4wd tercel. And the fact that the engines are absolutely bulletproof is good as well. Granted the blazer is more fun in the bush (more ground clearance, but not by much).

1988 chevy blazer 4x4 (S-10). It was free, so it was for me. :D

Where I live in Northern Cali, like most of Cali, it only rains in the winter months, and I'm about 60 miles from the snow line.
It's a little easier to gauge when it's gonna rain here compared to when I lived in Florida when I never knew when it was gonna pour.
Anyway....my s12 hasn't been wet (except washing) for 2 years now.....as I keep it tucked in the garage on rainy days, and drive my '95 Maxima when it's wet out, or up in the snow.

I have the 4AC also, but some people like to call my car a AE85. But AE85's have a 3AC(1.5 litre carbed), whereas we have 4A blocks(1.6 litre). So I call it the Hachi Go point Go. Whatever.

Yeah, I'm reggied on club4ag, but most of those cats are ricer "4AG or go-home!" type. Fidduck that. I'm puttin my T25 on my carbed 4AC and they can all blow me. They remind me of 240 owners that think the SR20 is god. Fidduck what ya heard.

*edit* Club4AG deleted me. LMAO.

My winter beater is my 89 T/A. Oh wait, that's my year round beater...

http://storm.prohosting.com/~likness/joel.jpg

But with a Posi and a 5 speed, it's actually the best car on snow I've owned. (Never owned a FWD car)

Trying to fix up my 88 F-150 4x4 though since I live out in the boonies now.

Post pics of the KA24 project!!!! Until I found my VG30 S12 I was gonna get a S13 and build the piss out of the KA just to mash the faces of all the "SR20 or STFU!" retards.

*edit* Nevermind, I just noticed your sig is a link. durrr http://groovenet.merseine.nu/yabbse/Smileys/classic/tard.gif

Mine is the s12, but I am starting to think that I wont get to drive it anytime soon. It has been parked in my yard for more than a month :slap: because the fuel injectors are leaking. I finally got to put it into the shop Tuesday to get it fixed, but the mechanic hasnt should up the last 2 days I think he's sick. I hope I will get it back soon.

Blinocac200sxdate not saved · #20

I have to agree with those who say that the 200 is an all season car. I love this little guy.

Spooleddate not saved · #21

Yep, same here. I drive mine in all weather conditions. It's a little interesting on ice and snow, but what rwd car isn't?

geoffdonkdate not saved · #22

i run the avid t4's, and while i must admit they;re ridiculous in snow compared to a lot of tires, they're also a lot of fun. i run them year round.
