I have had a quite a few inquries on my electric fan setup.....so here's what I got.
Perma Cool, single fan, part # 19114. This sucker pulls 2950 cfms. This is more than most dual fan set-ups. I can hold a piece of paper in front of the grille, and the suction will hold it there. I got it from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com

The fan controller I use is made by Centech INC. www.centechwire.com
The model # is FC-2PE. It comes with a 1/8" sensor that screws into the coolant, instead of the crappy probe that pushes through the rad. fins like with most controllers. The controller itself is adjustable from 130 - 250 degrees and mounts inside the cockpit....I have mine tucked under the dash on the drivers side with access to the adjusting knob. It also has a connection to kick on the fan with the A/C. Also, it came with a little LED that mounts where ever you want it , and it comes on whenever the fan is on......which is pretty cool.

The easiest thing I could come up with to get the sensor itself tapped into the coolant was to have a little 1" dia. x 2.5" long barbed pipe made with a hole tapped, and a fitting welded on it for the sensor to screw into. Since the pipe is mild steel, I got it powder coated inside and out to protect it from the elements. I then cut my top rad. hose and put the pipe in-line. I suppose you could also tap a hole in the t-stat housing and put the sensor there.....but I like mine, because if I ever want to remove it, all I have to do is spend $6 on a new rad hose and call it a day!!
Anyway.....the setup works awsome, and has never failed me.....even on 100 + degree days with the A/C on.
Here's a few pics of the pipe I had made, and it's location.

The bottom pics of set-up aren't working!
Those fans look deadly... you still have the cowl on?
Damn it!! The pics were working last night. I know Bart was having trouble with his Car Domain pics and is now using a different host to post pics.
I'll get them up later today.

Yes...if you mean fan shroud. I first tried the fan with the shroud/cowl off, and since the fan doesn't have it's own shroud the heat being pulled from the rad. was being blown all over the engine bay making everything in there hot to the touch.......so I decided to put back on the OE fan shroud, and now all the hot air is directed towards the engine and everything in the engine bay stays cool. If you center up the fan on the rad. the fan shroud clears the fan by a long shot.
Alright..........pics are up and working.....see above
Keith, That is a damn clean set-up.
Looks great!
Those fan blades look ready to take off a finger or two!
man clean engine bay!
i am doing an elec fan set up as well, a small one off a swift with the swift temp switch will do as an auxilary fan incase my CA18DET decides to overheat.
once again, MINT engine bay..........i noticed the heatshrink on the temp signal wire, very nice.
