Boot Mod ATT AUSSIE S12 OWNERS!!!!

This page, the boot covers, now im doin a boot mod for my 2 12's and i want to cover it up (i dont like the thought of a brick through the rear hatch) so i was lookin at the stock cover over the boot, now i have the cover between the two rear spreakers, but not the further rear one over the main part. im going to back that peice and put it there, do some kind of nice work on it and hinge it to get out the spare (thats part of the aussie rules, you gotta have the ability to get it... or i might relocate it...) anyway..... heres what i want to know, aussies listen up!!! where can i get it in aus, i have had troubles locating ANY parts here.... i need some other parts (next to all interior) and i need help in finding where! but i do want this rear cover, so please aussies help!

Hey mate, i am in AUS too. What cover are u looking for. Yeah AUS isnt easy to find parts in.

wouldnt happen to know where i can get a body kit made up in Aus would u?

hey,

i am looking for the boot cover... you know the part covering the main section of the boot in the hatch. check the link i gave in previous post, there is a picture, it stops u from seeing in the main cargo section (where my subs are) as for body kits well i have a mate who does some fibreglassing for fun, he made his full kit on his cordia looks sweet i been askin bout mine but gotta make some ideas first and fruk it takes long time and heaps of mo.... so what price were you lookin at ? where bouts in aus are you?

you looked for any parts b4? if u have where at?

Yeah i had to get one for mine. It cost me $11 bucks from a place called U-Pull-It. It is a place that u take ur own parts off cars then pay for them at the counter, good place. I can have a look for another ojne if you want?

How mcuh would it cost for your mate to make a kit? like full front bar, sides and rear bar?

Yeh man that would be great, where is this place? syd? melb? im in wagga wagga (central nsw).

The cost well........ he said that its custopm job and he dosnt do it often so it takes him a while to make it, if yours is EXACTLY the same as mine (car that is) he can use mine to make it, cause i cant drive it (boys in blue got the upperhand) then get it to you, but is very pricy coz it takes him a while. he said depends on what you want to so ull have to i dunno find a pic example or draw it???

hey,

yeh mines that funny grey colour but not to fussed coz its just carpet and i can recover it....... or is the carpet on it unreplaceable?

yeh could you see if you could find me one? im only a little bit away so i can bpay u the money or somethin for purchase and postage? that cool? that would be champion.
i have an 84 liftback but yeh pretty much the same as urs...

Hey Josh,

I was down at U-Pull it on saturday. Unfortunately the piece you're after is gone... But ring Nissworks (0icon_cool.gif 8281 9888, the guy called Jim had a S12 hatch that he wrecked for parts, you may be in luck!

Have you tried to fit an S13 bar to the front? I think with a bit of modding it will fit and look sweet!
