okay..on a S13 240sx you can have sleepy eyes by turning that knob thing beside the headlight

http://www.angelfire.com/sd2/240sx/t5.jpg

our 200s have that too, will it work with us too??

if it's not raining 2morrow I'll try it and get back to you guys(if somebody hasn't confirmed or denied this already)

I also knwo if you pull the motor fuse out then you can have your lights on while in sleepy eyes mode...that's for a 240sx though.

That would work, but u'd be forever jumping in and out to re-adjust them, if you guyz are interested, i can write up my how-to on how i got sleepy eyes on the flick of a switch icon_wink.gif

Mine both rise and fall at the same speed and level, so I reckon i would be ok with a stop switch.

I have tried manually winding them up, as can be done on my friends S13, but the motor just fights it,... which fuse to remove to stop it? and if i put the fuse back in, would they just pop up/down or stay sleepy?

The timing for my way is really nothing, by the time you tell the pop-ups to go down, and run yer finger to the switch and flick it yer done, 3 mins practice and its all gravy.....

I tried this with the S12, doesn't work. You turn the knob and at a certain point the headlights pop up and go back down(freaked the shit outta me the first time..ahha).

I'm thinking the only way is to remove the fuse for my motors and then do it, but then I can't open or close them...or do the switch thing. but I dont' want the "dopey eyes" look. I want them the same height.

nah...I'd rather use a simple switch.

I've heard a lot of bad things about those controllers on 240sxforums.com. I don't think it's worth the $$ you pay either.

ahhaha Alex...man....

you told me 1 green 2 brown a pink and a black..

mine's got 1 blue, 2 pink a brown and a black..I was like "dude..wtf" ahha

so I just hooked it up to the wire I knew for SURE would work..the blue one. but it's on the down stroke and my two motors are WAY off..ahah so I got dopey eyes..so I gotta go out and manually adjust them everytime...I may just hook it all back up normally and keep the switch.

the diff on mine is HUGE...my driver's side headlight will be at the right height..about an inch from closing and the passenger side will be half open...it's so bad.

I think I may just hook it back up originally...*sigh*
