Hey, i have a chance to get a brand new ball bearing t28 turbo for dirt cheap and i was wondering if the specs are pretty good.
GT Series Ball Bearing Turbo
- T3 Compressor, 60 Trim, .60 A/R, 31 Pounds/Min Flow
- .64 A/R Internally Wastegated Turbine Housing with T25 Inlet Flange
is this pretty big? what is the difference between t3 60 trim and t04e 60 trim?

New t28 for the CA.
thats basically the same turbo i have but mine has the ceramic wheels.. if you can get it for cheap then do so that turbo will be more then the ca will be able to handle.... and the difference in size of the t3 and t4 in 60trim is huge....

your right bart.
I belive it uses a metal called "Incoium" or somthing...on the exhaust wheel. Supposed to be very light weight. Might be the same on the compressor.

Yeah, a friend from work knows some people who own a tuning shop and they can get just about any turbo for a quarter of the price. icon_twisted.gif

2nd gen dsms had the t25, didn't they?
TD05H ... the 14B for 1G DSMs. Guys with the 2Gs all dump the T25s for the 14B if they know what's good for them.
The 14B was phased out because the North American consumers found the 1Gs to be too harsh with power onset. So they went to the T25 for a smoother powerband.
There's more than a few DSM cars with 14Bs well into the low 13s ...
