I've lost my dip stick and need measurments of one. Please help guys!
I have no idea what is the level of oil. Dont want to loose the engine again.

I'll go out and mesure mine, but its got a kind of funky bend in it so I don't think its perfect. Watch this space tomorrow.
The dipstick didn't shoot out I;ve lost it during engine repair.

Ok the dipstick on my 85 turbo is 12.5 inches from the stopper to the tip of the stick. It's 1 inch from the tip to the low mark and 1.5 to the high mark. Total length is 22 inches give or take.
