What is more interesting is that the car is a1990 model.  In most of the world 1988 is the last year of production for the S12 and the S13 came in 1989.  Is yor car a singel cam 1.8 turbo (CA18ET) or a twin cam 1.8 (CA18DET)?

Yap, CA18ET.  I didn\'t think the Japanese wil export the twin cam version.  What you have is the single overhead cam 8 valve 4 plugs turbo engine and I think it is rated at 135 hp for the UK market.

I know a couple 18det powered s12s made it into the uk...not sure if they where sold in the uk, or if they where imported after initial sales had ceased.
