My 200sx is officialy a pirate XD the left headlight motor works flawlessly but the right one has some issues. i have to twist it to get it up and down. But once i tried twisting the motor til it was down and then flipped the switch to see if it would go up...and it did!...extreeeemly slowly -_- . Tried to put it up with the switch but no dice. sooo i doubt its the relay. im guessing its mechanical and that i gotta take it apart, clean it, and re-asemble it.

Any other suggestions?

If it worked fine and then did this slow thing all of a sudden, the motor is probably bad. It could be a winding, the brushes or maybe even the com is worn down. Hey, 20 years ain't so bad!

With the amount of people with parts on this forums, there is bound to be a few people with some spare headlight motors that can be had for cheapies. Also... even though you joined almost a month ago WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

No, If I'm correct, our headlight motor got 2 diodes and the 240 on got 3...or maybe the invert (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

drn it...that would have solved my prob...but now something even worse happened...she was out in the cold for a while and now when i tried to start her'up it kinda hesitated (normal...we just had a small snow storm).. then i tried again and it dident even turn over. ..just this winding sound coming from the left side i believe (in the engine bay ofcourse). any body have any ideas what might be going on? i felt like poo since that happend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crying2.gif)
