I have heard this story so many times...
This is my current situation as well. And I have replaced everything on my ca18et.

Good luck.

Sounds like a confident prognosis...

I'd say some more diagnosis should be done beforehand, instead of just saying "BUY A FUEL PUMP NOW!!!"

I'd say See if you're getting enough spark, fuel and air and go from there.

I agree. dont buy parts unless you are sure its what you need. turn the key to the on position, if you hear your fuel pump humming, its working. check to see that your timing didnt get bumped back by vibration and a loose bolt. and loosen the idle-adjust screw out a few turns. you can re-adjust it when it starts, and is at running temp. it sounds like something just got bumped out of wack... (hill billy slang for ya)

true - always check to see if you have spark (or gas!) before anything else...I'd had the same thing happen to me twice before (one on a 200sx another one on a 88 mustang) both ended up being fuel pump was gone...
