Abunai's Vg30e Swap In Notch (pics)

Well my VG30E swap into my '87 Notch has begun. This is what we have done so far:

-DAY 1-
*Hood Off
*Front bumper off
*Driverside fender off
*Engine wiring harness unpluged from ECU & fed thru the fender
*ECU out
*AC Disconnected (OUT) & drained/was real fun... Sorry O-Zone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
*Tranny unbolted & drained
*All hoses, gas lines,ect marked, & unpluged/drained & pluged up
*Radiator drained & taken out

This was all done in about 3 hours. Me, Bob aka Boob (HyphyS12) & two other friends were just taking our time doing it right. I'll have pics up tomarrow. Thanks.

Very funny. I thought we got a decent amount of work done. Anyways.

-DAY 2-
My CA20E out
*Cleaned the VG30E
*Cleaned my old CA20E
*Bay cleaned
*Then came across a dumb problem (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ....

I couldn't snag the crossmember from the old V-6. Then I realized that the V'6 motor mounts won't line up & or fit on my old brackets & crossmember, My question is:

1. Can I use a crossmember from a 300zx or is it a different width,etc.?
I've tried to find any 200sx SE's around my area in junk yards and came up short.
2. Do I have any other options then using the crossmember from a SE?

you have 3 options. attain an SE crossmember, modify your motor mounts or modify your crossmember. bummer man, cuzz i just wacked apart my SE crossmember (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Aww that sux. Well a friend of mine was talkin about I just use the V-6 motor mounts then get a piece of metal and put that between the motor mounts & the crossmemeber then weld that hoe. But I think if I was to do that my whip would shake like a V-8 & bounce from side to side. What do you think? Do you think that is a good idea? Thanks.

we might be able to solve each others problems. i have a se that im do a ka swap to i beleive that the ka swaps that run were all originally 4 bangers to begin with
