like it says i got a super good deal on a ca18det that im picking up next weeknd it is complete just needs an engine harness(the one on there is cut)..im not putting it in my s12 right away im gonna do a lil work and clean it up b4 it goes in...does any1 know where i can get an uncut harness?

or i have a complete ms setup with a ca18det base map loaded on it, brand new never installed.
the brain has been tested on another mega squirted ca powered car though.

so i picked up my det today..the guy was asking 1100$..i talked him down to 700$..the guy i bought it from told me it had no harness but when i got there the harness was sitting ontop of the motor and he never noticed lol..i brong it home and took off the valve covers and it is clean as hell in there..the turbo is mint no shaft play at all..im not using that turbo tho..i have a turbonetics 60trim im gonna rebuild and put a topmount manifold..i have a 300zxtt fuel pump im gonna put in there and im getting some gtr 444cc injectors..i have a z32 maf also..i will have more picks soon after i start taking apart the motor some more

Look at the valve cover, and the timing belt cover. It has personality. CA18's and CA20's just kinda look like a motor.
Nissan took the extra effort into making it an attractive piece of iron. Just admiring, normally cost cutting is priority. That valve cover would have been cheaper to make flat and ugly. To bad they must have did that with the look of the S12, because it came out flat and ugly...lol
ehh i guess, i had all the real transformers in the 80's, 'real' not that new crap, i just would'nt of put the two together. the ca18det has some character to the covers, but i thought that was more to fit the internals that the single cam's could'nt fit. ither way it should be a good swap, not a bad deal on the motor set anyway.
it as 175hp stock..that piece of crack metal is where the intercoolor piping goes..i dont care about that im not gonna use it anyways...im going top mount because like i said im putting turbonetics 60trim on there and bottom mount manifold is a pain in the ass...i have a standalone..im still thinking if i wanna use it our not..
see now i like it more, i painted just about everymotor i had with a fireproof blue
looks nice i plan on going ca18det as well

i think im gonna get it running with the stock ecu to get the motor running right and stuff..then maybe later down the road ill install the standalone..
