Where can i get a clutch or can i use a L-Series clutch........anyone please help....

i used an r32 gtst skline (rb20det) clutch plate and pressure plate on my fj20et....

Is that with your stock box or a rb20 tranny? How does it drive?

stock box,and considereing its a three blade paddle clutch it works very well but isnt very sociable to drive biggrin.gif

Also what should i do with the tranny cause when it was running 2nd gear grinded going into gear.....so i was thinking what should i do z31 tranny just change the bell housing???????????

i would try to keep the box you have. apparently the fj turbo boxes have wider gears and good ratios compared to some other boxes. sounds like your syncros are naffed. happened to my old box, and i got it rebuilt no worries. worked fine after that.

I just did a quick google search on "r32 clutch" and tons of vendors came up with aftermarket upgrade clutches for that tranny, so just surf a bit in google, and order one.

I ordered that Exedy HD single plate for the fj20......the problem now is the syncros sad.gif
