If I use the s12 transmission with my CA18DET will my rpms be higher at freeway speed than if I used the s13 transmission?

My CA20E had pretty high rpms around 4rpms on the freeway. I'd like to have them lower with my CA18DET

Also, does the CA18DET clutch work with the stock transmission? What clutch is a quality clutch to use for normal power, and what is a recommended clutch for big power.

Thanks

i believe the gear ratios in the two transmissionsare the same, the only diffrence is in the case lenght, if i am wrong someone who knows can corect me, i don't have a opion on your clutch question, except to make sure that whatever you get that it is the one you need, i bought a ka clutch off ebay and although its labled corect and my flywheel is still the stock ka one, the pins don't line up at all. i bought it last year when i was geting all my parts together, i trusted the labels and now that i'm putting her all back together, i have this problem

A CA18DET clutch will work fine, but make sure you're using the CA18DDET starter motor and flywheel, too.
