Ok, so my CA18DET is installed. I have an exhaust made up and on it now. It idles and is semi driveable. All very good things. The bad things are that it is way over budget, although who would expect a project like this to stay on budget, I'm not sure of the best place to find a good intake setup for it, and it sputters at anything over 2000 rpms (I'm assuming that's because I have no intake, turbo/intercooler piping though)
Any suggestions on where to get a good, yet cheap, custom intake/intercooler setup (I have an intercooler just not the piping) in Canada?
I read up a bit on the sputtering problem so I'll see if that continues after I have it all piped up.
Also, how hard is it to tune it to get the air/fuel ratio right for optimal mileage.
Thanks
P.S. I'll post pictures when I'm done
