My CA18DET didn't come with a MAF. I'm just running a stock turbo setup. I'm not doing anything fancy right now. I'm just trying to get the car running. What MAF can I use for this purpose. I can't find an actual CA18DET one around here, and I'd rather not have to order from Japan. Is there a compatible one I can get from a parts store?

Thanks

P.S. I searched and searched, I don't post here anymore without searching first.

If anyone has a stock CA18DET MAF cuz they upgraded, then I'd be interested in buying it off of them.

Thanks

I'm from the Lower Mainland in British Columbia Canada. I'm desperately trying to get my S12 done for a road trip down to California in a little over a week. The engine is installed, and idles great. I have a custom mandrel bent 2.5" exhaust. I'm pretty sure all I need is a MAF and to finish the turbo piping, and whatever vacuum hoses.

Time and money are in short supply, but I'm so close. It's very frustrating.

I had thought that the CA18ET and the CA18DET maf's were the same...??

So I managed to track down an Air Flow Meter. Turns out a guy I now had an extra one. Only question I have is how do I wire it in? Are there any threads on this? It's four wires. A big grey one with a black and white inside (I think) and a little green one, and a little black one.

If anyone knows what these are supposed to attatch to let me know.

I got the wires off of a Nissan Pulsar NX, but My AFM is from a CA18DET so I gotta figure out where to spice em in.

Sweet! Got the AFM wired in, and now it revs high and doesn't have that choking problem at 2000rpms. Only thing left to do is do the turbo piping, and attatch the vacuum hoses correctly (which I have no idea how to do). Good times.
