hey guys i couldnt find it on the cross over but i was wondering if the tranny bolts from the ca20 will work to bolt my det tranny back on the ca18det i lost them some where when i pulled the motor so if you guys could tell me what year and motor i need bolts from that would be great thanx
86 to 88 all have c-trans and that's also what the det has so look for those years
Take those 20e bolts and thread them into the block BY HAND. If it doesn't want to screw it, it won't work. B or C trans doesn't matter, because they both bolt up and are made for the CA block. I'm most certain it will work, but you'd have to recheck the threads AND length to be sure.
Yeah they'll work....you just have to make sure you put the correct length bolts in the correct length holes, since some are longer than others
S12 auto ones don't work, but all manual ones do.
