so i got this from pep boys, its a universal heater hose that fits instead of the factory nissan part

this hose costed me $12, instead of nissans $22

you simply need to cut about an inch from the non flared end and about 1/2" from the flared end to make it fit like mine

the flared end is slightly small for the bung on the valve cover, stretch to fit and use a hose clamp

NAPA sells rubber line like that for super cheap

line that small would be 1.25 per foot

napa also has steel braided line for almost as cheap

you're gonna want hoe that can withstand anything that is petroleum based. otherwise it'll deteriorate really quickly. I used some hose i had available, and a GM 90* pcv elbow from autozone. then 4 hose clamps. it looked decent, and functioned fine.

i figured it would be okay for a while, considering its designed for coolant use, if anything, its an alternative, or a quick fix

This just saved my ass. My hose was so brittle it fell apart the second I touched it. This part is under $7.00 on rockauto.com
