I need a measurement from anyone that is running a DET in a s12.
I need to know the length between the radiator support and the front cover of the engine. Thanks.

Should have put this in CA18DET Tech.
why do you need to know the measurement? I would guess it's about the same as with a KA or a CA18ET.

He needs to know because he wants to run a mid mount or v-mount.

It's 270mm from the bottom radiator support, to the harmonic balancer.
I know it's not quite what you asked for, but I needed that measurement for something else, but it should give you something to work with.

thanks Umai Naa. whoa mm's = about 10.6". So I'm guessing a little more at the top...?
anyone else with the top (original) measurement would be great!

Gonna be the same as ca18et/ca20e + maybe an inch. More if you count the CAS. Which is bout 1.5-2.0 inches itself.
