I am trying to find a intercooler piping kit for my 86 nissan 200sx with a ca18det swap, and haven't been able to find an exact bolt on kit. Do they make an exact bolt on or do you have to order one for the s13 or s14 240sx? I am sure you have been asked this ? a million times but i haven't found an answer on the forums. i appreciate the help if i can get it.

pre bent piping is usually less then 100 bucks for enough tubing to build the intercooler setup. just take your time and work slowly and you wont have any issues

my advice, get some crushed or mandrel bent pipe and straight pipe. Maybe like 4 or 6 bends and then start measuring and cutting. If you dont want to do that, just buy a generic set from ebay and build your own that will temp. work until you get better stuff and have it welded or such. Just stay away from the aluminum piping with silicone couplings. They slip under pressure. If you do, then create a lip/beveled edge on the pipe then hose clamp the coupler behind the lip/edge.

No don't get crushed, just buy the mandrel sections. Look at Mod Mastas' thread in the Garage section (I think it's called "Frankenstein" or something), he did IC piping for a CA18DET, and picked really good directions to route things.

My IC piping isn't really organized but here's my thread if you want to read through it. Everything is scattered cuz I did this over a period of 8 months haha. GL with FMIC.

its very easy to get around it look at my pics of both fmic and you can see you sneak the tubing under the battery.. that way it stays where its at..

take a look at my car domain page...there are some good pics of where I cut holes and how I routed the mandrel u bends. It's on my old ca18et with t25g. I only had to modify slightly to fit on my ca18det. Give you some ideas anyways
