Take a look I think i'm going to pick one up. They are life time warranty.

Obx Lsd Is It Bunk
do yourself a favor and do a google on this, lots of people have important things to say on them... if you know what to look for and how to inspect them, often you can straighten them out and save lots of money, but often they usually come improperly assembled. Like I said, do what I did before, and google it.
does this LSD bolt in?
It's awfully cheap compared to other diffs. I see and it is OBX. From my experience, OBX is great for knock off stuff or relabeled parts from other companies. Def. like Arro says, do the research. For that price, I would love to have someone prove my experience and instincts wrong.
i looked into a few of the 240 forums and not many of those guys have tried them. the ones that have said they work well. like arro said a few have came improperly assembled, but the honda guys seem to like them. I really want to get a perspective from someone who has purchased one.
Cant beat the price with a life time warranty.
there is a VERY good article/forum post about one of these somewhere. it was linked to here last year. a guy did a writeup on how to check one of these for defects, comparing it side by side with a Quaife. the conclusion is basically "yes it's worth it but you will have to replace some internals".
a 30 second google search yielded the article. please read it, you'll be doing yourself a tremendous favor:

edit: and please for crying out loud, use the search function on this forum. if you still can't find what you're looking for then use google to search this site by using the search term "site:club-s12.org [search term]". that'll often do the trick.
not dear the Torsen
Look here:

Read under "Geared Differential". OBX is a Quaiffe clone I believe.
If you did a search you could answer your own question.
Perhaps one day someone will fit one.
The fact is for drift purpose they prefer to weld.
Many cars here reached the 250hp on an open diff perhaps they don't need a hlsd yet, depend of their uses.
It will me my last mod on my car for sure!
I have 1 and yes it is a direct bolt in and I've had no problems running 300bhp through it without any internal mods to it.
From my experience I would say it's worth the money for sure.
Damned it's the better sentence i've heard about s12 mod this year! Can you tell use about the feeling with such upgrade?
I need to save some money now!
alundraDamned it's the better sentence i've heard about s12 mod this year! Can you tell use about the feeling with such upgrade? The obx lsd is a replica of the quaiff and reacts the exact same way.
I need to save some money now!
It's torque biasing and so sends more power to the wheel that needs it most.
In everyday driving it's difficult to fault as it feels and reacts a lot like an open diff.If you use the car as your everyday driver then it's in my opinion the perfect option.
If you want to go sideways then you can and it doesn't have any of the clunky characteristics of a locking diff.
If I was drifting then I'd just weld up an open diff but for an everyday driver the obx is spot on
Some people who've bought OBX differentials have inspected them and found them to be often missing various washers and other hardware, due to poor quality control. You can google and find threads on this all over the internet. Many of the people who found their OBX units like this, just ended up buying and installing the necessary stuff for just a few bux, but I would never just "throw it in" without inspecting it to make sure it's been assembled properly. And if you aren't able to inspect it, then you aren't ready for an LSD anyways.
I think someone already mentioned that in the thread....but it doesnt hurt to repeat to inspect it when you buy it...
i need an lsd bad for autox...i keep thinking about welding the diff...but it will just cause the car to understeer randomly i think...
the original link is dead btw...was it for a r200 or r180 lsd? (if anyone remembers.)
read this and the two links it has right at the beginning. lots of great info. after reading these threads i intend to buy one when i can fit it into the budget.
and if it its not linked to in the above threads(can't remember) read this one too... http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic...ed-input-quick/
They do work well but thats after youve inspected them, worked on it a little, and replace a few small things on them. also in hondas we do a good amount of drilling on OBX diff. to get them installed properly.
They are hit or miss unless you mod them.
