Can Sr Tranny Bolt To Vg Motor??

XanoYup. After you hacksaw the main chunk of it off, it doesnt take much, i used a dremel with a grinding wheel to get it to the exact right shape, and fit the manual pedal's pad onto it. I wish that car wasnt crushed, so i could get pictures still, but eh shit happens i guess.

+1 thats what i did the pad only cost me 1.03 so i bought all of em

HEY GUYS I HAVE AN AUTOMATIC VG POWERED S12 AND WAS WONDERING IF ITS POSSIBLE TO BOLT AN S13 SR20DET REDTOP TRANNY TO MY MOTOR AS LONG AS I CHANGE THE BELL HOUSING???

you're gonna need a bell housing from a 87-88 SE or a n/a z31 with manual transmission... the sr is also a FS5W71C, but is geared different from the CA, KA and VG that uses the same transmission... also, I do believe that you will need to mod your stock transmission mount, and will end up with the same problem as using an other s13 transmission, your shifter will sit 3 inchs backwards, which means that you will need to cut your existing shifter hole.... that's all I can think of....

Right lads, bit of an update... Guy kind of local has offered me apparently everything I need for manual swap for £300 not sure what that is in dollars... But only thing is, im having to go on his word that its in good order. Told me there is in and around 90k on the gearbox but the clutch is almost new.

What you guys reckon?

Sounds good. To get he car started i just stuck a paperclip in the neutral park. switch connector and.bam start up like i said when the time comes pm me for info bro!
