I'm really thinking of purchasing this oil pan.  Mine has had a ginormous dent ever since I got it, at first I found a undented one at pick and pull.  Which was my plan at first because it seemed like there were no aftermarket alternatives.  It still runs fine and stuff even with the dent but I've heard about ca's having oil starvation problems when combo drifting, which I plan on doing.  You guys think this would be a good buy?

its cool but the price is retarded.  u got a welder?  got a buddy with a welder?  Fab ur own high capacity baffled and gated pan for next to nothing.  Google up pics and how tos and you'll get the idea of the design.  Too easy really.  As for the CA oil starvation.  Just dont peg it for more than 10 seconds (long time to be tapped out) or hot lap it and you'll be fine on oiling.  My shit is still a champ.  It blows it out the catch can lines (which have no catch can hooked up) and I top off the oil as needed.  Only ever blows it out when drifting hard.

Hmm, my friend has a welder, but he's really lazy and takes a super long time to do any sort of automotive work hahhaha.  I have seen those guides though.  Is there any chance you could make me one iggy?  I'd buy it off you if it's cheaper then this thing!

6 months ago i woulda done it.  we'd both be rockin them lol. I've been wanting a gated pan for a while now but drifting has become a major expense of time and energy.  motor has been ok so the issue hasnt pushed itself on me.  if u have patience i mught be able to find some fab time but it wont be too soon.  I'll pm when the ball gets rolling.

i scrape my pan all the time. i just took mine off to bang it out and repaint it

EDIT*

o this thread is about oil starvation.

hmm. yea just dont peg the rev limiter much? and leave your stock shit on there. you be fine.

bigger oil pan= more places to dent
