Did you guys needed to get the driveshaft balanced? my shifter vibrate the faster I go.

Mine seems to be fine. At least up to 50mph. I know that in one of my other vehicles we got the driveshaft off by a single spline, and it vibrates like a mofo between 800-1200 rpm/25-30 mph (is a diesel lol)

No mine works fine with the hybrid shaft. Check your carrier bearing.

^ like they said,
check the trans mount and center carrier bushing.

the 240sx and 200sx both use 2 piece driveshafts. each piece of the driveshaft is balanced seperately from the factory, so i've heard. mine doesnt vibrate at all, ive been up to 70mph so far. the driveshaft only bolts together 2 ways. if the bushing and mount are good try unbolting the d.s. and rotating it 180. sounds like a bad center carrier to me though.

you guys suck...you all got it right. the carrier bearing is not seated properly.. it just suck soo bad to do this with only a set of ramp, I think i'll just jump by Nissan tm and get them to do that.. a 15 mins job... because I'm taking the car home for vacation tomorrow.. a 1100km trip (knock on wood)

And that's what I was thinking at first, being two shaft, I thought they were balanced seperately. Thanks for confirming that. But why do the FSM say to mark the shaft and put them the same way if we disconnect the shafts? .mmh.. mistery.

And on a last note, does anyone ever pushed is swapped S12 around 120mph and can vouch that they dont vibrate at all?
Of course 120 have been done on a closed track right?

I can. And I don't know how honestly. But it was fairly twitchy

hung talked to a veteran nissan tech he said that the tech recomended switiching to a one piece as he said when he use to work on them they had lots of vibration issues in stock form.. try hose clamps also thats a method. or stick on wheel weights
