Kat Still Smoking After Turbo Rebuild

Ok, for those that are reading my build thread from time to time, you know that im building a KA-T, with a t25g..

I got the KA running good, then i put in the turbo,, it started smoking.. so i sent the turbo out to Iggy for a rebuild.

I put the turbo on today (with oil restrictor), and it still smokes big white billows of smoke..

Turbo freshly rebuilt,
does not smoke with turbo off engine,
Restrictor is on,
I/C pipes are clean

Please help me guys..

Whoot! It just stopped smoking!

I started it up, and it just doesn't smoke..
Now my BOV dosnt open.. surgeeeee up the ass.

U guys can lock up the thread if you want.

The thread is now open again.. because it still smokes..

It only smokes when it is left off for a couple of hours.. (Overnight), or when left just for 4 or 5 hours..

I think it "pools" inside of the turbo, leaking down the exhaust pipe.. then when the exhaust gasses get hot enough, it starts to smoke..

Any ideas? not even 8 miles on the turbo after rebuild.

The turbo has no oil pressure after you shut it off. and drains down back into the pan, and oil can't climb uphill without said pressure....
My guess lies in your engine, not your turbo. Oil can pool on the pistons because the oil in the head can't drain.

it only does it with the turbo on the car..

I took the turbo off, to see if it was the engine, but it was not..

is your oil return line running free? I guess if it's clogged up, it would prevent the oil from getting down in the pan after you shut it down and oil could drizzle it's way past the bearing into the exhaust manifold.... maybe with enough oil pressure, it eventualy reaches the oil pan, but with no oil pressure it gets nowhere... is your oil return line big enough? and is it a direct drop down to the oil pan?

the oil return line is directly from the turbo, to the pan.. very short line.

This is gay.. spent so much money on this turbo build and crap, and it ends up smoking, even after a rebuild.. wtf.
Ill do another rebuild, but i wanna make sure that this will be the last one.
