Ok first of im new to turbo cars and my friend just got the ca18et with the motor out of the car and with alot of crap missing.
since i dont know about turbos much and the ca18et i have no idea were the oil and water lines connect to the engine, i know the in and out on the turbo thanks to chiltons book i just picked up at napa but it dont show where they lead to.
thanks for the help and pics would be the best!

The oil pressure comes from a connection near the oil filter on the 84 model, and from a fitting under the exhaust mani on the newer CA18ET. I understand you can tap into where the newer location is if you are dealing with an 84 series (Mk I) the coolant comes from the intake mani but some bypass that as it gets to be a lot of plumbing. If no one else chimes in, I'll try to post some pics of this.

ya it a 84 and i found the oil outlet line i think thats below the oil filter, but i cant seem to find the right thread anywhere i might just tap it to a newer more comen thread
Also the guy before never used the coolant to cool the turbo just the oil, can i run it like that and is it safe?
Thanks for the help?

well, I would try to run the coolant to it. If the fittings on the turbo are missing there are some possible conversions I have seen in these forums. If you use a synthetic oil you may get away with running without coolant, but regular oil would soon cook itself and block off the oil passage and then the turbo is toast.
