This is old clip but RWD cars usually loses about 20-25 percent power from the fly wheel to the back wheels.

20-25? Nah, it's not quite that much, more like 10-15. 20 to 25% is more like an AWD system.

This one here is almost 25 percent.

The TBI manifold with the carb is probably hurting top end and killing WHP...
I didn't read the whole thread, but a quick skim didn't turn up what trans or rear end he was using either, gearing and drivetrain wear will change loss percentages.

His torque is within the average drivetrain loss percentage though.

That is a vg30i not a vg30e.  and even then, it's not a vg30i, but it has the vg30i intake manifold with a carb on it.  a vg30e, like what our cars come with stock is going to make more power.

128/159 out of a vg30e.  not bad when they are rated at 160/174

9% loss on torque. 20% loss in horsepower.  the VG30E head flows HORRIBAD though, it was a motor built for boost, so it does not do well in a naturally aspriated environment.

Other dyno numbers include:

135.7/158.7 - headers (15% hp loss 9% tq loss)

This is obviously a very healthy vg30e.
137/152.8 - stock w/ 210k miles (14% hp loss 12% tq)
151.6/166.8 - same motor as above but with headers (5% hp loss 4-5% tq loss)

As you can see from the above example, increase the flow of the shit that goes through the head, really helps with the HP number!
