auto to 5spd ca to ka24de

OK i understand that i should search more but im on a time line here and i cant sit for hrs in front of my laptop searching and reading and what not so . i need either very helpful links or some one who has done these to help me out on here please.

this is what i have to work with 1987 s12 its auto (sucks i know). motors blown.

this is what i need and want to do. i have bought a ka24de with s13 5spd trans. i want to convert my s12 from auto to manual and convert from what ever motor is in there now to the ka24de. im not worried about the wiring i just need to know what parts i have to buy or get fabricated to make this install properly.

You have a MKII, so for factory S12 parts you will need:
Manual trans cross Member (I think you need this)

For the S13 parts you'll need (If you have just the motor, trans, harness, and ECU)
FRONT half of drive shaft
Motor mounts
KA and lower radiator hose
Manual Trans mount

Sometimes, the throttle cable is needed, but not always....

The KA in the MKII Is much easier than the MKI, and it's really, really easy in the MKI. I did it in 3 leisurely days from start of pulling KA in the S13, to pulling CA from S12, To driving down the road.

i have the wiring harness and i have nismo solid engine mounts some were from a previous project. do i have to modify the tranny mount for the s12 to adapt to the s13 trans.?

do i have to change the rear half of the s12 auto drive shaft or is it fine? i ask this because i know on an s13 the manual and auto drive shafts are different.

also is the exhaust manifold an issue with this swap or do i have to get one made? i ask cause i have a greddy ka exhaust manifold/down pipe.

ok, not to sound like an ass, but that question has been asked a million times and the anwsers to most of your questions are right above this post

im not sure about the auto/manual driveshaft question,but i think that all s12 rear shafts are made the same, its the front half that mates to the trans that you have to worry about, but dont hold me to it
i just know in the case of my CA20 car and the S13, it worked flawlessly, S13 front shaft with S12 rear shaft

so far as i am hooking up my exhaust, it doesn't look like the stock exhaust setup will need modification, however, arro has said that his after-market exhaust needs the bottom of the car and someof thefirer wall banged out alittle to fit the header.
