New toy, s12 in PA

whats up all?  I've recently come in ownership of an 87 200sx.  I've been around nissans alot, but newer to the older nissan's, and not quite sure whats what. so i ordered myself an original dealership service manual to help explain this mess of hoses and wires.
The ignorance of a dumbo before me ghetto rigged a whole bunch of crap, also, it runs like crap. poping, stalling, no power.  Ive come to realize the ca20e is either a worthless, or very pricey to rebuild engine.  So, i was wondering if any of you guys knew off the top of your head a good sr20det swap thread, or possibly a ca18det..  I've been doing a bunch of reading and research, but have yet to find a great detailed thread..
Any help is welcome, anyone in the PA area with an s12??

Welcome.  there is a lot of info in stickied threads about pretty much all of the standard swaps...KADE, KA-E, CA18DET, SR.

The CA20 is pretty worthless unless your car is a point a to point b daily driver, in which case it's not too bad.

Yeah, the CA20 had great mpg but not so great RWHP  laugh Keep us updated on the project!

EDIT: Oh, youre ganna need new rear subframe bushings, shocks, and possibly a diff. Brakes work good.

EDIT:EDIT: oh, it has a massive intake leak, it needs a new EGR valve <-- Whats causing the problem., just remove the emissions shit and you dont need to worry about it, im sure theres writeups on here. Maf is phucked. uh.... oh and the fart can thats on it is retarded and is melting the bumper so you might wanna fix that too. I was told the clutch was going out but when i drove it i couldnt feel anything wrong with it.
