Okay this symptom only happens at about 4k in fifth gear it seems like i hit some sort rev limiter/ fuel cut... it doesn't happen in any other gear I can wind all other gears up till redline no issues. It happened once in 4th under load though. So I can only do about 75-80mph after 4k in 5th gear it cuts. Any ideas
Replaced plugs cap rotor wires.
I'm thinkin maf or ecu....
The maf is on the passenger side I'm using a stock s13 air box then maf then a coupler then pipe then throttle chamber could the maf be too close to the throttle body??
I read somewhere that it may be that I'm not using an s13 speed sensor. And the way to diagnose that is to run a auto ecu.... but many of us are running s12 trans with bellhousing swaps or s13 trans using s12 lower harnesses. Sterling said this wouldn't be an issue.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated
