? Need more info from your end. Motor part? electronics? Location? Pics are usually a large help.

Don't know about the US but here the difference is: GL = no power options as standard, except power mirrors from 85. SGL - standard power options = mirrors and windows (power steer optional, I suspect in the US SGL includes power steer too)

I think in the US...it is GL, GS, GLS and GLL....correct me if I'm wrong. I honestly do not know what they stand for though. =D

Trim level acronyms don't make much sense, outside of the typical GT, SE, and LE

AAAAND I have an '84 XE....
I've never seen any of the Gblahblah ones in the us. Just XE's, Turbo's, and SE's. But that's not to say there isn't.

Old thread is old, but still relevant.

I remember reading exactly what the trim levels meant and how to find them on the vin so you could figure out what a gll was and if your car was one or not...but honestly...it isnt too important. You either got, power windows or you didnt, or digi dash, or you didnt, or built in alarm, or you didnt, or sunroof, or you didnt . Most s12s came analog dash, power windows, no built in alarm solid top. But I own 2 85 s12s of like the same exact trim level...just one is a notch and one is a hatch. Oh, and i forgot the rain sensor of course...
