Straghtening a front Lip

My wonky front lip/spoiler has always pissed me off;

There was somekind of thin metal support behind it but after 20yrs it was just a mess of random rust. I tried leavng it in the sun after I had removed it but lol that didn't do nothin'.
So anyway to straighten this sucka ? I expect it's the same as an SE lip.

Yes, it is... look in the visual mods section of this forum, one or two people posted pictures of their reinforcements. But it can be done a number of ways, just browse around your hardware store and see what you can use.

take the lip off and heat it a heatgun untill its straight
and if that isnt enougth make new lip support pieces

Yeah, there are two very thin tin L type brackets that are supposed to keep the lip straight, but of course going anything over 10mph is going to make those bend.  The one thing Nissan did not overbuild.

i just took mine off and put it on the floor with some heavy books on it then put a center bar in there to keep it upright
