Check timing, pull valve cover and check and adjust valve clearance as needed

no problem, Throw some slick 50 in there if you still have tapping and see if it helps. Best of luck.

Sounds like its not running on all cylinders. Have you tested all you cables for spark, and cleaned/ gapped your spark plug to (1.0 or 1.1mm/ .039-.043in). Push the cover back and expose the end of the spark plug wire that contacts the spark plug and hold it above a bare metal spot (Like your intake) to see if you are getting any spark. If you are getting spark on all your wires then pull each electrical connector on the injectors (one at a time)  and if your motor does not change rpms or smoothness then you may have a clogged injector or a fouled plug on that cylinder (If the car stalls then it safe to guess whatever cylinder you played with is fine).

Best of luck,
Jonathan

thanks a bunch man. i would have gotten a longer vid but  we had to shut her down cause were not too sure its times exactly right, we didnt have the timing gun that day. but im gonna check the plugs and wires. the wires seem relatively new so they should be good but i might get some new plugs.

First things first. Silver top engine. Valve clearance and rockers are not adjustable, They're HLA's
Second off. Definitely sounds like it's on 3 cylinders, but the timing could just be that far off.

Pull plug wires while running to locate dead cylinder when it snubs out (If there is one). If no other part of your body is touching the car, you won't be grounded and won't get shocked. Pliers help.
If engine starts stumbling on a cylinder, determine if there's spark to it. If so
Put screwdriver to fuel injector, make sure it's ticking, If so
Check timing. If in time.
Swap time.

I dont really have cash for a swap. I could only do a ca20 swap cause i cant affort to be moddifying a bunch to fit somthing else. Im moving out to cali hopefully soon and i really wanna take it with me but i gotta get it runnin right and decently reliably. Unless i could find a ka swap for crazy cheap itll have to be ca

Yes indeed, mine are tapping too, damn non-adjustable, but i did replace VC. Gasket when i looked at them a couple months back. I think you would have to service the whole valve train to fix the tap.
