"Custom Title" Question

So I have noticed some members have added info in their "id box" associated with their posts. I see it's entered in their "Custom Title" section. When I added to that on my profile, it didn't show up on my new posts. Some members it shows up, others it does not. How does this work; thanks.

It happens after 1000+ posts.

The exact number I don't remember though.

it's a benefit to being a long standing member, and at the time it was put in, the only way to measure that was to count posts.

I looked at your old posts and they count back to 2005?
