Took my dash out this past weekend and Im having a few problems. The rest are small fry but theres 2 things that are bugging the crap out of me.
- 1 When we pulled the dash, one of the bolt holes on the hood latch broke off and is now currently only being held in by one bolt. Thats not the main issue though. When Gustard came by, we didnt pop the hood and undo the battery. Completely skipped my mind until head lights came on and we figured disconnecting the battery would PROBABLY be a good idea. We had already disconnected the hood latch from the dash so we were basically just pulling the cable however we could. We tried everything we could think of to pop the hood but we just werent able too. Since it was cold, females were drunk in the house, and very wet outside...we figured the whole contraption would work after installing the dash again.
NOPE! For whatever reason I havent needed to get into my hood until last night to check some fuses (prob # 2). Hood latch still doesnt work. Not quite sure how to get my hood up now, lol.
- 2 Every light on my car was working very well before the dash install. After it though (and something I also only noticed last night) my tail lights dont work. Every other light still works perfectly, but not the taillights anymore. I checked all my fuses in the dash and didnt find anything. I remember when I was installing the fuse cluster into the dash again, there was one fuse that popped out on me a few times. I kept putting it in and it just wiggled around. Its currently still in there and holding, along with the others, but after touching them all, moving them, humping em, nothin happened. Still no taillights. Can someone point me in the right direction for this? I tried searching for the FSM download but wasnt very successful.

Edit: Fixed hood this morning. Apparently theres a spring at the end of the latch cable and that had been stretched to all hell. A little pulling and tenderness and I have a hood that opens again.
