i am putting a front mount on my ca and am just wondering about the hose that originally went to the charge pipe infront of the throttle body. not sure what it is for and was wondering if it can be eliminated or if i have to weld a bung onto my piping and add it onto the system.

it goes to the idle control stuff and yes you need it so yes you need to weld one on to your new piping.  your car will barely idle as there would be no throttle bypass.

you can put a good onewayvalve on it along with a small filter.
Ive tried that on my RB
