Well lets talk about this for a moment, Would it possibel to connect 2 Radiator cores with Homebuild endtanks?
Technical like a sandwhich laying two cores together and weld new endtanks on it.

so are you saying like II or like -- as either are possible though they may cause more problems as you need more airflow. bike do it this way  -- one on either side if the bike and i think they only have one pump yet they have a small amount of fluid compared to our cars.  Shelby did it in his series one like the bikes do it to help promote front downforce in his series 1 production car.  so yeah its possible

Iam talking more about making a one core to a two core

like
I have now a GTI Cooper Rad which is 30mm thick, now add a second core with new endtanks and get a 60mm thick one

would be a heck of a project.. but i suppose it is doable. Gonna need alot of airflow tho

I suppose the rads are aluminum with crimp on plastic end tanks... I don't see why you couldn't cut down the flange a little, butt them together and weld it up.

Would be a lot easier if they're brand new rads (never used), nothing like trying to weld contaminated aluminum.

If you have the tools to do so and the material for end tanks, go for it... If you can do it yourself, it might end up being a little cheaper than just going out and buying an aftermarket rad of the same size and cores.

IKam thinking about cooper rads, and no, buying one isnt cheaper........keep in mind in germany cost everything around 10 times more.

Copper is easy enough to weld too, or silver solder if you like.
