Will a 93 j30 diff fit an 87 S12 Gazelle?

Hi everyone, I am not sure if anyone has posted this before but I could not find it. Does anyone know if a 93 j30 diff fit an 87 S12 Gazelle? Would I need the axles from the j30 as well? If you have any recommendations on a better diff please feel free to comment. I am also going to be doing an SR20Det engine and tranny swap, would that make a difference? Last question, the j30's all had vlsd right? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance =)

No, the J30 uses a short R200.

I think the only ones that will directly work are M30 and Z31, mainly because they all share the same rear suspension as does the S12.
Not 100% sure on the M30, at least not the axles, but it does use a long R200 like the S12 and Z31.
