so after i got my car put back together i checked my timing with a light and i had it set at t.d.c 0

my mechanic says for our elevation i need to set it at 8 b.t.d.c and that i need to disconnect and plug the air induction pipe hose....

so my problem is idk what or where the air induction pipe hose is any help on the matter would be great  i tried searching for it but i came up short sorry if i over looked something

hes probably talking about an idle up valve AKA the Air Regulator. He's an idiot. leave that stuff alone. doesnt matter if it works or not. follow the FSM to correctly set your timing. if u have to worry about smog then set it to factory. if not then just crank it and run 91 octane gas, which u should be anyways. Good luck

no i dont worry about the smog we dont test out here i all ready run 91... im doing 10 lbs of boost what should i set the timing at if im not going factory settings?

mines also on 10psi and i'm at 20-22 degrees but i have an intercooler and a larger turbo so my air charge is cooler than a stock engine on 10psi

if u get a pump that isnt waaay bigger than u need then u should be ok. some people have used a walbro 190lph on the stock FPR and been fine. a walbro 255 will overrun the FPR for sure tho.
