I went to a local drift event here done by driftcolorado.org and i did amazing for what i have. stock steering angle, canuck ms springs, agx's in rear stock shocks in front, ca18det swap on sr20 t25 on 9psi, felt good had some problems with the pcv valve so i dumped 4 qts of oil out into my catch can so gotta fix that. next thing is s13 coilover conversion and steering mods. Do s12 steering racks bind when you cut the knuckles? I killed 4 pairs of tires in 2 hours so my car has some power i guess lol Does anyone think a BCL wing would look good on a notch or does anyone have a giant wing on a notch with pics?

Here's a couple videos of me

route the block vent and valve cover vents to a catch can and vent that to atmosphere.

u got power enough. focus on suspension. no need to cut knuckles yet. do s13/14 setup. that will gain you the control and adjustability. stiffen up the rear with springs and perches. just dont go too low and kill the rear alignment/geometry too much

heres my setup
Front
S13 coilovers
S13 spindles/hubs
S13 balljoints
S13 inner tie rods
aftermarket Heim-jointed and bumpsteer spaced S13 outer tie rods
S13 brakes (or q45/j30 will work as well as z32 if u got money)
S14 tension rod brackets
S14 LCAs (boxed)
polyurathane LCA bushings
S13/S14 adjustable tension rods

Rear IRS
5"x6.75" 600lb/in Eibach Pull Bar springs
adjustable perches
performance shocks for foxbody mustang
(all these rear parts can be had from Speedway Motors or Day Motorsports)

my setup isnt the only way to go but its one of the best ways. if u want more street friendly front camber then use S13 LCAs and 95 escort outer tie rods. you can use 77-91 ford E-150 rear shocks instead of foxbody mustang as well

this car is a dedicated drift car. Can i still have capabilities with s13 spindle on s12 lca and tension rods?

you could but you wouldnt have adjustable caster and you wouldnt gain steering angle from the change in knuckle geometry. my car has a lot of angle and stock s13 spindles uncut. going with S14 LCAs will give you the most natural angle gain and the widest front track and the most negative camber possible which is perfect for a dedicated track car. just be sure to cut the bump stops off the LCAs

I know what youre thinking but trust me. go all out on your suspension
