RS13 seats, do they fit the S12?

my 89 coupe seats don't fit...only one hole lines up. so I think you'll have to go for the '91+ seats.
Hydafs S12 has S13 seats and he said when he put them in the front two holes lines up perfect and he just needed to drill holes for the rear. so he may have used seats from a '91+. another member has confirmed that 89 seats don't line up.
has any one tried just removing the s13 seats off the sliders and seeing if they will bolt up to our stock sliders
tried.
they won't.
the S12 sliders bolt right onto the bottom of the seat. the S13 ones bolt onto the sides of the brackets on the S13 seats.
my dad and I are working on mounting brackets to bolt onto the side brackets of the S13 seats.
Darn.. the seats I can get are from a -89, so you need to make 2 new holes for each side of the seat? (4 per seat / 8 total) to get them in place?
3 per seat.
one hole works...one of the front ones.
the other front one...to make it work you have to bend the rail
will bending the rail result in a problem when changing the possition of the chair?
(Im ~190cm tall, so need the travel of the seat :P)
all seats from 89 to 94 rs13 in sweden has the same mountingpoints ;-)
OMG its not true! :>
YES!!
The seats in my two S12s are worthless, my back hurts after just 100km of casual driving... Im going to lit them on fire or something :P
Most people dont like the 89 rs13 seats to beacuse of the flat back (swe inget ställbart svankstöd) but i like it :-)
I hate the adjustable "svank stödet" in the S12, it makes my back hurt eaven faster...
So Il go look for some nice RS13 seats.. hehe
Bought two nice and comfortable Nissan RS13 -89 sport seats. Will try to get them fitted this weekend.
all s13 seats, from 89-94 are bolted in at the exact same location. try the z31 seats maybe.
Is there anythin wrong with drillin new holes>?>
Quite easy to do that...
Rules for Queensland Transport are if you do that you have to have square plates of a certain size and use high tensile bolts of a specified grade, 9just can 't remember exact numbers), of course each state has their own rules and Qld is fairly lenient compared to the southern states. I have R33 skyline GTS-T seats in my s12. The front two mounting bracket holes matched the s12 ones. For the back I changed the location of the inside brackets slightly i.e. cut them off and welded them), so they bolt up to the seat belt stalk mounting bolts, (The R33 seats have the seat belt stalks on the seat. So I went and got some ford laser 91 stalks and belts from a u-pull wreckers, the stalks are the same size as the R33 ones, he he I didn't tell the Transport people that as they wouldn't know any different anyway). So I only drilled one new hole for each seat and used a plate and a high tensile bolt for each.
