I have the CA18DET and i am using the ET tranny. The clutch that it came in the DET it toast. What clutch can i use to replace it? Other than the JDM one since i can't wait the 1-2 weeks it would take to get it over the border.

you sure the et tranny clears the det clutch?
i am having that same problem right now?
just buy a douple plate clutch for a 180sx for like 180 US

You can make your own "hybrid" clutch. By using a pressure plate from a 180sx (that will bolt up to your flywheel) and the friction disc that will fit the splines of the tranny. I think from memory the CA18DET clutch is the same size (physical dimensions) as the CA20e clutch (and thats the same as the CA18et clutch), therefor you can just buy a CA18DET clutch because its the same size, the same number of splines for the tranny, etc etc.

Go to Nissan with the one that fits, and ask them to see a 90-96 NONTURBO Z32 (300ZX) clutch. Works in the VG30 200. If not, maybe they have something you can match it up to.
