well to those who used power steering in their ca18det's.
Which power steering pump/compressor did you guys use?
i know the brackets are diff from et to det due to oil check stick is in the way so the thing has a groove.
and the det bracket is shorter than the compressor where it sits on the bracket.
I was wondering what you guys used..

I used the stock CA18DET PS Pump on my 86'. The 180SX uses a different hose end on there line (banjo to pump direct) but you can use the stock hose adapter (banjo to flare) Hose was the right length, bolted to the DET pump worked great! no mods!

the brackets are different though
how did you mount it?
and you again mean the ca18et right?

No I just used the stock DET pump then ran new lines to the relocated 180SX DET resevoir, I included a picture link above.

i see what you saying but i wana run the ET pump
so for those of you who will be running ET pumps some grinding will take place
about 3/4 of an inch where the pump sits on the bracket
