I want to put a nice exhaust on my 84, i dont want it to be real loud though, i want to have a nice deep sound to it, and give me better performance.

I was looking at an apexi n1, and dtm dual tip(not sure about name), on ebay how would these sound, and is it worth buying these for 45 to 50$

as long as it isnt a honda, it will sound good.

not true... There are a couple of things to take into consideration... First, the straight through will make more horsepower, but I think it would be quite a bit louder, where as the twin tip will probably give you a tiny bit less than the straight through, but it may be worth it if you're like me and don't just want to be labeled as just another loud, slow, obnoxious car. In my town ricer wanna-be's (people with only enough cash to do a muffler) run rampant, and I don't wanna be labeled as one.

Also, the N1 has a silencer, so then you can adjust the noise/power the car makes. The other dosn't

sorry, i couldnt help the ricer comment.

a straight through cat would help performance. if you did want to run straight exhaust all the way back, resonators would help quite it down some. im not sure how they effect performance though.
