No, it's not worth buying. If you want to use your stock o2 sensor, you can only use the ECU out of an '86 300ZX. If you want a little more performance and feel like going to the extra effort of enlarging the o2 port in the exhaust, then the '88 300ZX ECU is what you want. But you'll need to buy an o2 sensor for an '88 300ZX also, which is fatter than the stock one - hence the need to modify the o2 port.
So ur saying that this ECU would be the correct one...lol again i was lookin on EBAY it says from an 86 Non turbo 300ZX if this is the right one i think im ganna get it. Yep, that looks like the right ECU. The numbers match up correctly. Great price too! They usually go for aroun $50. As for the RX-7 adapter, I think that's the one everyone says to use. I borrowed some aftermarket parts off my 300ZX Twin Turbo for my MAF adapter. However, the piece I used came with a kit, and you can't get it seperately.
