My oil feed line is a braided stainless steel line. I was just wondering if that is stock or replacement line. Also my friend that works at Valvoline hooked me up with a free oil change so I took him up on the offer. They had a hard time geting the filter on because they say is bent. I was wondering if that is somthing that I should fix. There is still goodpressure. They clamed it could get hot and burn a hole in My filter.

If it's braided, it's not OEM.

I don't really understand is what is bent?

The oil supply line for the turbo is bent? Yeah, that would be a bad thing. You should get that taken care off ASAP

Ok, I'm assuming you have a MKI car. (84-86)

On those, I think the oil supply comes from the passenger side of the block, and wraps around to turbo.

On mine (MKII) it comes out of the block right at the turbo.

What I don't understand is how your braided steel line is bent. Braided steel is flexible.

If your turbo line is stock, it should be a metal tube. If that is what is bent, as in crushed (they bend a lot on the way to the turbo) DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR. Without oil your turbo won't last very long at all.
