Anybody know if our cars use bearings for the camshaft of some sort of bushing? I can't seem to find any replacements for these even on online nissan dealers. Is this listed in the FAST program. Anybody know more about these and if they need replaced on a rebuilt motor with a Nismo cam? Also anybody know why Nismo says you need new OE rockers with the Nismo cam?

I know in my VG30 there are no cam bearings or bushings. The journals for the cam are ground into the head itself.

no bearings, they are just journal style that are ground into the head. no bearings. Make sure you have some oil or whatever on those surfaces before you slide it back in.

Cool thanks guys. I looked in my FSM and saw that they used journals but wasn't too sure before.
