what about hyper wiring? anyone tried? what do you think?
Hyper Wiring

what is it?
isnt that that basic 4gauge grounding wire nickname for all the ones on ebay. They charge like $50 for like $15 worth of parts.
Yeah.....no shit. I just made some up using 4 gauge wire with copper ends for pretty cheap.
DAT SHIT IS TIGHT DAWG!!!! :slap:
Why do people insist on paying a shit load of money for shit they could make themselves. I mean a buddy of mine paid 10 dollars for a funnel and a hose. (a beer bong for the alchohol challenged). When i could've made the same damn thing sans humorous disclaimers for like 4.
Let's assume this wonderfully miraculous device costs $50. let's see.....
4 gauge wire maybe 20 feet 10 bucks maybe 15 if the salesman is behind on his bills .
Solder (assuming your a dumb **** and don't have any laying around) 2$
wire cutters (ditto) $5
there you go you saved 33 to 28 bucks.... Oh and if you're wondering where the soldering gun is. Well i assume you have one. Everyone should have them if for no other reason than to gouge stupid peoples eyes out with lot's of added sting and to leave smoldering eye sockets for the effect.
J/K on having solder laying around...
ehh.. adding more grounds to an engine won't increase performance unless you have a grounding problem
Heh, same reason people will pay hundreds for that Siemens VDO Sound Amplification intake thing.
With the push of a button, you can amplify the sound your engine makes from one of 3 settings.
The "Import Tuning Scene" has brought about an entire new fleet of rip off artists out of the woodwork.
Makes sense though, thousands of clueless people desperate to fit in and be noticed. How hard can it be to take their money?
Better yet, why am I not doing it?
do you all think that it is helps?
Adding ground wires will help your car, depending entirely upon your current grounding situation. If your grounds suck right now, and you add additional grounding, then yes you will notice a smoother idle, and most likely crisper throttle responce. This is because it lowers the internal resistance of the grounding system...same reason why you don't use 18AWG wire in a house. The larger the wire you use, the easier electrons flow, so there is less friction between the electrons, and therefore the wire doesn't heat up. If the wire doesn't heat up then it flows more efficiently. However you will reach a maximum, and after that the effect is so minimal that it makes no difference. This is why 4AWG isn't used to feed a standard out let, it is just overkill, and it is for this reason that people are going around with two big of wire in their cars for no reason...
So basically if you want extra grounding 8AWG is fine, but if you can afford 4, and don't mind the extra weight then go with 4, but it is over kill, except for the ground that goes from the Block to the firewall, or the battery depending on placement, but even then 8 should work no problem...Remember Copper is heavy...
cool write up. thats all i need to know
